Undress and dress again

Unbutton my yellow, double-breasted coat, which will take you twice the time.

Because there are twice as many buttons and your hands are freezing.

I light the fire. The body melts inwardly.

We are a puddle on the floor. Yellow becomes amber, becomes red, and we have painted our faces with the colour. We are jubilant as you dress yourself with my emotions, wear them like your favourite coat, they cling to you, are made for you.

And now here we are, clothed in yellow again.
